# This is MYVEROL
# Distilled Propylene Glycol Monoester
# Type P-06
# It is a pure and remarkable food
Because it lacks any flavor of its own, it would never be served at a table by itself. It is useful, however, as an active emulsifying, foaming, and dispersing agent.
It is prepared from fully hydrogenated soybean oil and propylene glycol and is, in the official phrase, “generally recognized as safe” for use in foods.
Because of its high monoester content, it provides a high level of activity.
It joins the other products with which we help you solve problems of food physics and food handling: MYVEROL Distilled Monoglycerides for control of texture and MYVACET Distilled Acetylated Monoglycerides for food coating and lubrication-release.
