Abstract design featuring overlapping concentric circles and striped wave-like patterns overlayed on multiple stomach-shaped cutouts across a rectangular panel. Problem and solution prompts are listed above and below the geometric illustration.

Problem: A drug with high
ulcerogenic potential
Several drug categories, in particular, steroids, have relatively high ulcerogenic potentials. This potential reduces their acceptance by both the patient and the physician.
Solution: An R.P. Scherer
soft elastic gelatin capsule
R.P. Scherer Research & Development developed a dexamethasone formulation (soft elastic gelatin capsule) which reduced the ulcerogenic potential of the steroid without reducing its bioavailability.
If your problem is high ulcerogenic potential, an R.P. Scherer soft gelatin capsule might be your answer.

Ulcerogenic potential - capacity to cause or promote the formation of ulcers, particularly in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract
The problem and solution angle is eyecatching and very clear for the reader. The geometric design is unusual because, at first, it doesn’t appear to directly connect with the medical ad. Upon further reflection, however, I think the design is supposed to be the GI tract, including the stomach and intestines. The circles are still confusing to me but maybe they are trying to visually suggest irritation of the pathway.
