Contributing to animal health and nutrition to supply food for the world is more than just food for thought at Diamond Shamrock. 

We started putting our thoughts on nutrition and animal health into action more than 50 years ago — the first company to stabilize vitamins for use in the fortification of agricultural feeds and fluid milk products. 

Today, we’re actively manufacturing over 60 animal health and nutritional feed supplement products, all aimed at growing healthier poultry and livestock, and at keeping the production of meat, milk and eggs both efficient and low cost. 

Our strong commitment to research and development continues to add new and more effective products to that list. 

For example, our Oxyject oxytetracycline HCl injection antibiotic is used for the treatment of diseases in cattle. It injects easier and faster, giving better syringeability under all types of conditions. We provide Nopject, an easy-to-use injectable source of rapidly absorbed liquid vitamins, as well as vitamins for feed and custom pre-mixes. Our CSP.250 feed medication for swine provides the dual benefits of disease protection and faster weight gains. And, ensuring peak performance of feeds, Diamond Shamrock UNF-40 is a source of unidentified growth factors. 

We also manufacture products for the dairy and food industries. They range from vitamins to fortify milk and our Direct Set Acidification Process for the manufacture of cottage cheese and sour cream to vegetable oil-based systems for food items, a full line of ice cream and yogurt fruits and flavors, citrus drink bases, chocolate powders, iced tea bases and eggnog bases. 

In addition, Diamond Shamrock offers the industry a range of technical services, through our Technical Service Bureau, from problem solving of nutritional deficiencies to least-cost computer formulations. Determining and meeting your exact needs.
