Kenite diatomite sweetens the process for Corn Products.
At its Pekin, Illinois plant, Corn Products, a unit of CPC International, Inc., produces corn syrup to rigid specifications.
Primary filtration problems are particularly tough because the removal of residual insoluble starch particles from raw syrup is usually difficult in the lower dextrose equivalent (d.e.) range.
Optimizing efficiency.
To optimize their filtration efficiency, Corn Products people turned to Kenite diatomite filteraid for their rotary vacuum precoat filters, now producing a completely starch-free filtrate on the low-d.e. lines.

Other CPC ads I’ve seen usually advertise a food product. This one in particular advertises a filtration method that can even filter corn syrup (a primary product of CPC).
Multiple advantages of Kenite diatomite are discussed as a selling point. This is also reinforced by the image in the ad. The clear solution in the beaker surrounded by corn conveys to manufacturers that they can filter products (like corn syrup) so well that the result is clear and free of impurities.
