Effectiveness is primarily promoted in this ad. ScentStrip can be used in “unlimited ways, in a variety of folds and designs.” In a way, because its use is so vast, profit is implied as well. 

This is the first ad I’ve seen that advertises a product for delivering fragrances, and is not a fragrance product itself. The product’s effectiveness is implied by its ability to “make [fragrances] come alive” and “leap off the page.” These words are reinforced by 7 pink roses (representing the fragrance) that are literally coming out of the page.
