# … AND NOW, RIGHT HERE IN OUR AUDIENCE… 18 MILLION WOMEN
## (STAND UP AND TAKE A BOW)
### That’s a lot of women. And Mrs. Paul’s will reach them all on “The Sullivan Years.” Sunday night (of course) October 17, 1971, 9 P.M., CBS-TV Network
90 minutes with Ed, recalling the highlights of 23 years of family entertainment - featuring stars and performances that made him a Sunday Night habit.
And while the audience warms up to “The Sullivan Years,” Mrs. Paul’s will be warming them up for you with hard-selling commercials for 4 fast-moving Mrs. Paul’s frozen products.
But that’s only part of the story.
There’s a heavy schedule of TV commercials concentrating on popular CBS Daytime Network programs - guaranteed to reach almost 170 million homes - 50 million women!
Then, there’s also a whole print campaign with full color ads coupled with cents-off coupons in both national magazines and local newspapers.
Even full color ads in Sunday supplements - with a cents-off coupon good towards the purchase of the new Bake ‘n Serve Kitchen Casseroles.
So enjoy the Sullivan Special Sunday night… and make sure there’s plenty of Mrs. Paul’s products in your freezer cases for Monday and every day.

Text-heavy sidebar with 4 small, black-white photos of frozen meals, from deviled crabs, beef & green pepper casserole, fish sticks, and fried onion rings. A large caricutare drawing of Ed Sullivan from the Sunday night show, “The Sullivan Years.”
[additional notes]
This advertisement was striking in its use of caricature and it’s reference to a television show. While it’s selling Mrs. Paul’s frozen products, I’ve very confused by the
placement and why the advertisement describes that it’ll be on the Sullivan Show. Is it compelling distributors to buy their products due to the increased visibility? It is also interesting how the advertisement focuses on viewership from women, signalling women’s sole centrality to the home and cooking.
