One thing that stood out to me about this advertisment was the emphasis on the “gentelness” and “mildness” of Mrianol Chemical Company’s product. I wonder what this is in comparison to. This advertisment also represents the pattern of 1980s Drug and Cosmetics Industry advertisments having women as a central part of the trying to draw the manufacturer to the product.
