Women next to a conveyer belt with lines of pizzas on it
That greasy kid stuff is hard to resist. Pizza, cookies, potato chips and the like can easily ruin your belt line. Little by little, the oils and greeses keep eating away. And little by little, your conveyor belt keeps giving away. Until finally it reaches the breaking point. And then you’re really out of the dough. Obviously, something had to be done about all this. And B.F. Goodrich engineers decided to do it. So they came up with a B.F. Goodrich Koroseal belt for this job. Stronger, more flexible, waterproof belts. Made specifically to resist oils, greases, acids and abrasions. Ask your BFG distributor to help. He has a complete line of belts for all food-handeling and canning applications. They are available in polyester fabrics and a range of colors. He has Quick-Lock, too – a new method for chemically splicing and repairing conveyor belts right on the job. Fact is, you’ll find your BFG distributor quite helpful – all along the line. He’s in the yellow pages. B.F Goodrich Industrial products company, Dept. M-150, Akron, Ohio 44318
I find it funny how this advertisment is basically showing how unhealthy and greesy kids food is. It is saying how all of the oil and greese that comes off of food like pizza and potato chips is destroying and breaking factory conveyer belts. It makes you wonder if kids should be eating this food if its so greesy that its “eating away” the machinary. It makes you wonder if instead of the conveyer belts being replaced if instead the food itself is what should be fixed or changed. - Emily Carvalho
