Morton Dendritic Salt has many rough edges, but that’s just what you need.
All those hills and valleys make Morton Dendritic Salt the easy blender. Our Dendritic Salt combines the best features of granulated and flake-type salt. The surface of a Dendritic crystal is extremely jagged and irregular – while the interior contains millions of tiny cavities, most of which are less than a few microns in diameter. And herein lies the magic. Dendritic resists caking. Also it has an unusually large capacity for absorbing liquids. Paradoxically, it will dissolve almost instantly when immersed in a liquid, but ever so slowly when exposed in a limited manner. In “dry” applications, Dendritic blends with either coarse or fine material. It can reduce the need for additional “free-flowing agents.” There’ll be less compaction and improved control over container fill.
When you’re using Morton Dendritic, you’re blending with the best.
We don’t call Dendritic the easy blender for nothing. You’ll find it’s perfect to use in detergent (both industrial and household), bowl and metal cleaners, dry bleaches, denture cleansers. Dendritic is also an excellent mixer with dry powders. We’ve published a great booklet about Dendritic. If you wish one, just write to the address at the bottom of this ad.

Comments: The text and image provide a technical explanation of how Dendritic Salt’s unique rhombus structure gives it properties effective for mixing, blending, solubility, and low density. The scientific technicality conveys Morton’s scientific reliability and accuracy in its product, appealing to food manufacturers searching for dependable and scientifically sound products. The advertisement emphasizes the product’s low bulk density, requiring less salt to fill a container, demonstrating cost-effectiveness as a value in the food manufacturing industry. Similarly, Dendritic Salt’s mixing and blendability properties highlight the manufacturer's value of smooth, continuous processing systems.
