One thing that stood out to me about this advertisment is that the company (BASF Corporation) has many different trademarked products that don’t seem to differentiated within the advertisment. While it is mentioned what some the ingredients are, it is unclear which product they are in or if they are present in all the products. This advertisment also represents the pattern of 1980s Drug and Cosmetics Industry advertisments having women as a central part of the trying to draw the manufacturer to the product.
