#The touch we add to your gel sticks can light up her day.
Today a dressing table or bathroom cabinet without several gel sticks is becoming very unusual.
Whether they're transparent makeups, colognes, emollients or deodorants, the gel sticks that show up most often have something special added: the Witco touch.
##Consistent gelling.
Users expect the functional properties of these products to be consistent from package to package. Our sodium stearates, used as gelling agents, help assure that you will deliver that consistency.
Rigid quality control of our raw materials and throughout our manufacturing processes focuses intensively on the uniformity of our stearates.
Batch to batch. Month in, month out. So you can be sure they will help you maintain a high degree of reproducibility in your gel-stick products.
##The leading supplier.
Because Witco anticipated the need for better-than-ever sodium stearates, we are the leading manufacturer. Whether your gel sticks are based on propylene glycol, alcohol or alcohol blends, we have a
sodium stearate designed to meet your needs.

Alt Text: Advertisement contains a photograph of a white woman with brown hair looking at herself in a mirror surrounded by lightbulbs. On the desk in front of her are a variety of cosmetic products. She is wearing a yellow blouse and applying a stick of possibly blush to cheeks. In the mirror her reflection is smiling.
Comments: The use of imagery of women across these advertisements despite the language being targetted towards men stands out to me. The notion of creating the product to make a woman happy is apparent through the language surrounding “lighting up her day”. In the text around the advertisement the products that the chemicals are used in also include colognes and deoderants, which men also use, but it is never depicted as the forefront imagery. Quality control is also a repeated theme throughout the advertisements in this volume, including this one.
