For straighteners: monoethanolamine thioglycolate and ammonium thioglycolate. For your creme base: Evanol®. For depilatories: thioglycolic acid and calcium thioglycolate for easy formulation.

In the middle of the page there is a black and white image of a woman with heavy makeup and thick eyeliner looking wide eyes towards the viewer. She has curly hair and the edges of the images are distorted with waves.
Comments: I was intrigued by them describing sulfer chemistry as incredibly difficult. Upon googling I discovered it may be due to the common development of unstable intermediate compounds and variance in bonding. The hair products regarding changing the texture of hair was also interesting to me, as I feel like that industry was very popular during the 80’s and since has not had the same reach.
