This advertisement emphasizes patriotism and quality control. There is a lot of technical jargon in the ad as opposed to other ads in which they put more marketing value into it. The words ‘buy direct’ highlight the importance of American production and consumerism as opposed to out-sourcing internationally. I wonder if SIFTO Sam is a nod to Uncle Sam?
