Seasonal Production Spray Drying might be the solution …
Are you faced with the storage of perishables in times of peak harvesting? If so, spray drying can prove of immense value. In a continous process dried products is formed with the original nutritive constituents. The process is simple, economic, and the dried product can be reconstituted as required at a later date. Dow away with bulk storage of raw materials.
This advertisement stood out to me because I have never heard of spray drying before. After doing a quick google search I found out that it occurs after harvesting and it is a dehydration process that converts liquid or semi liquid food product into a stable dry product. This ensures that nutrients are preserved and the shelf life is extended. I am confused though because the image of this advertisement includes foods like banana, corn and garlic that are not liquid. How this product actually works is a bit confusing. -Emily Carvalho
