What's Jamison doing at Sky Chefs?
The image is of a tray with a plate, napkin, forks, knife, spoons, and a mug.
Pie in the sky is only one of thousands of food items that nation-wide Sky Chefs provides for hungry inflight passengers on many leading airlines. On the ground Sky Chefs operates a large chain of airport restraunts. The dual job is one of monumental proportions, calling for superb organization, computerization of minute details, training of skilled personal and efficient preparation facilities strategically located from coast to coast. The latter accounts for what Jamison is doing at Sky Chefs. For example, their recently completed food service facility at La Guardia, New York, includes six Jamison see-thru acrylic cooler doors and three Jamison metal clad freezer doors. The transparent doors are lightweight and easy to operate. Sky Chefs is representative of many progressive forward- looking organizations that have made Jamison the leading cold storage door specification.
When I first looked at this advertisment I thought that it was for airline food because the image is of a place setting that you might recieve when you get food on a plane. I was suprised after reading the full advertisement that it was actually for cold storage doors that come as either transparent or metalr that are “lightweight and easy to operate”. The messaging of “what Jamison doing at sky chefs” along with the image sends different messaging of what the actual advertisement is for. -Emily Carvalho
