The foam symbolizes cleanliness, freshness, and effectiveness while masking the underlying concern driving the advertisement: microbial contamination. The threat of bacteria, yeast, and mold is mentioned in the text, but visually softened through bright colors and hygienic imagery.
I was unable to find information regarding Glyco Inc. in my preliminary searches. Glydant, however, is a widely used, water-soluble preservative and antimicrobial agent, primarily containing DMDM Hydantoin. DMDM Hydantoin prevents mold, fungi, and bacteria growth by acting as a formaldehyde donor. It extends the shelf life of water-based products.
